Vehicle Pickup and Drop-off

7. Restricted Activities
Prohibited Uses of Rental Vehicle
- The vehicle must not be used for any illegal activities or purposes. Engaging in racing, rallying, off-roading, or other risky pursuits is prohibited. Transporting hazardous materials is not allowed. Sub-letting the vehicle or permitting unauthorized drivers is forbidden. Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs is strictly prohibited. The vehicle should only be used for its intended purposes and within specified passenger and weight limits. Additionally, driving outside of the agreed geographical area requires prior authorization.
Breach of these terms may lead to rental cancellation and extra fees.
8. Liability Limitations
To the fullest extent allowed by English and Welsh law, Car Hire Livingston will not be responsible for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of profits, data, or business, resulting from your use of our services. Our total liability for any claims is limited to the amount paid for the rental in the past 12 months. This limitation does not affect our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraudulent actions.
